As we approach the darker months, we need to take extra precautions to stay safe.
And we have just the thing to do that....Headlights
Our headlights from Harden are handsfree as they are secured onto your head.
They are ultra-bright and rechargeable by using the USB port.
They have a waterproof case, an ultra-bright long-range light source, and are easy to use.
The Trade/Work Head Light is small and lightweight.
It has a built-in 1200mA lithium battery providing superior performance and safety.
The brightness is 150 Lumens.
The Flood/Site Head Light has an adjustable elastic head-strap.
It has a removeable 1800mA Li-on lithium battery, telescopic zoom where the size of the beam can be adjusted, and a brightness of 180 Lumens.
Both of these headlights are of great quality, and are perfect to use for dark evening walks, night fishing, travelling, camping and can be used around the house.
For extra safety precaution, we also have a wide range of Hi-Viz Vests. These are great to wear for those late evening walks in the dark.
Fact of the day: The lumen is not a unit of brightness but rather it gives the total amount of light which can be delivered compactly, with all 150 lumens coming out of a single tiny LED or it can be from a large surface emitting quite little light per unit area. For both cases there may be 150 lumens in transit but the brightness differs a lot.
